New SeaPort Hotspot Bucks, the tendency only of NYC members but still have to overcome the rebounders

A new nightclub will be the trend only for members who have devastated New York City, hosting the masses, at least those who can stand behind their black velvet rope, can reveal the side dish.

Nightlife, as a range, the Gypsy group will open the Bohemia Club at the end of this month at the Pier 17 of South Street Seaport, which offers the service of bottles and poisoning views of the Port of New York.

“We decided not to follow the trend of the clubs of private members,” said James Gardner, founder and CEO of Grupo Gitano, in Side Dish.

Nightlife, like beginners, the Gypsy group will open the Bohemia Club at the end of this month at the 17th Street Streeet SeaPort wharf.

“The Bohemia Club is a champagne house and a dance hall that brings us to the fabulous and fun New York moments from the late 1970’s to the 1990’s, celebrating freedom, hedonism and individuality,” said Gardner.

The club of 3,000 square feet will be much smaller than the dense cavernous sin of the past such as Studio 54, the tunnel, the role and the palladium, but reaching enter it will still need to overcome a rebound.

“There will be a natural selection, along with a black velvet rope and golden bites,” Gardner said. “We can inspire ourselves in the past, but never try to re-create or create it again. We have to move forward and innovate.”

The aim is to regain the vibration of the New York’s nightlife scene, when creative minds of different origins met and mixed before private nightclubs full of pocket books walking mushrooms throughout the city as a toxic plague.

“Everyone burst into separate ecosystems,” Richie Romero, a veteran hospitality/nightlife, said, adding that clubs only “connect the field club model in New York.”

The model works, Romero said, because members’ rates can help clubs pay income and then generate revenue through food and drinks.

Meanwhile, velvet string clubs have more difficulty generating income with the bottles service.

But they can also work if the nightclub is connected to a restaurant with its own atmosphere at the same location, such as Jean at Lafayette St. o Catch and stk before that.

This is called Model Resort, says Romero, where people stay at night, instead of going to a place for dinner and then going to a club, which is what happened in the old times of Study 54.

“We are still a business, selling tables and bottles,” Gardner said. “You just have to take a look to enter -it is a place where people can show their creativity and not just their black letters. Stephen Yang

The model of complexes is hit with the other place of Gardner’s Seaport located just below the Bohemia club, Gypsy, the modern Modern-And-Mexican Boho-Chic restaurant that opened last month.

“We are still a business, selling tables and bottles,” Gardner said. “You just have to take a look to enter -it is a place where people can show their creativity and not just their black letters.

The Bohemia Club will be open from 22 to 2 hours, and can also be rented for private events, which include sunset cocktails.

At the end of the month, Gardner said that the club will be open on Thursdays on Saturdays, scheduled to expand until Wednesday until Sunday.

The location of the sea port is also ideal for a nightclub because there is less noise restrictions.

A list of resident DJ “Cool, Downtown”, such as Dangerous Rose, Fashion, Aunt Mobley, Lafayette Bless and Fried Platano, will provide entertainment.

For Gypsy debut last month, Fka Twigs performed with guests such as Adam Lambert, Chloe Sevigny, Cristian Siriano and Francisco Costa at the private dinner.

A British import, Gardner landed in New York in his early 1920’s to work on finance. In 2003, he had moved to the world of fashion, creating the first online stores for customers, starting with Marc Jacobs and expanding -Tom Ford, Balenciaga, Botega Veneta, Louis Vuitton, Gucci, Calvin Klein and Burberry.

Ten years later, after falling in love with Mexico while traveling, Gardner threw Gypsy to Tulum in 2013, creating a different appearance, from his hot neon neon sign to the sand and palm trees flanking the entrance.

Then he decided to carry “the Tulum rainforest in the city with large outdoor and seasonal spaces”.

Gypsy opened his first seasonal pop in New York in 2018: transforming a Soho car park from a concrete jungle into a tropical paradise.

This lasted until the end of the 2021 season and the lease expired.

From 2022 to 2024, Gypsy had moved to the island of Governors, which had unique challenges because it required to reach City Ferry.

“It was harder than our current location in a center dock. But even on the island, we were able to take tens of thousands to a place that never before,” Gardner said.

In The Seaport, the first gypsy/outdoor restaurant is a space of 14,000 square feet on Instagram with water views.

The main dining room is full of hundreds of tropical plants, including many that were rescued from their location from the island of previous government, including Majesty Palms, Cat Palms, Palms Areca and Birds of Paradise.

Against the gray charcoal plaster walls of the restoration, the green causes the room to feel tropical and elegant.
“We saved many of our plants on the island, sending them to the wharf last October 17 before it was too cold and keeping them -warm and watered during the winter, and we imported from Florida,” said Gardner.

There is also a black and white cement tile in the center of the restaurant, flanked by Adonida Palm trees and a giant disco ball, imported from Mexico City.

“No one in the United States would do it so big, so we did it and we imported it,” Gardner said.

The amazing place has 30 -foot ceilings and a wall of “garage” garage of hydraulic glass that open outdoors, overlooking the East River and the Brooklyn Bridge.

Other touches of Yucatán include handmade cement tiles, rose string chandeliers, zapote wooden tables made by tulum-and-and-a-tulk craftsmen a black stone fountain from a merida to merida. Everything is fixed on a backdrop of black plaster walls and a satin -black painted roof, “which, 30 feet high, gives the feeling that there is no roof and that you are outdoors, especially at night,” said Gardner.

The menu also adds to magic: from the executive chef Sebastian Cacho, a transplant from the Mexican city that has worked in Michelin -starred restaurants, such as Bâard and Aska.

Signature dishes include gypsy ceviche, lobster stubborn and carne. There are also Hamachi Tostada, Duck Hurache, slow roast lamb and roast cauliflower, while cocktails have mezcal options, botanical infusions and non -alcoholic beverages such as a “Marg Virgin” and Ginger Mint.

The space is large enough to have three bar areas: the Barra de la Selva at the entrance, a main bar that sits up to 15 people, and the golden bar, flanked by two columns of the nineteenth century, which were transported from a mansion in CatSkills, where Gardner and his partner, artist Andrew Cramer, have a stone house of the eighteenth century, presented in Architectural Digest.

The brand was expanded last year with Gypsy Dubai.

A tulum hotel is next, with 40 bedrooms, including three beach front -line towns with private pools and a beach club.
